Arindam Sil To Direct A Short Film On Coronavirus To Help Technicians
The short film feature Prosenjit Chatterjee, Jeet, Abir Chatterjee, Mimi Chakraborty, Nusrat Jahan and Parambrata Chatterjee, Paran Bandopadhyay, Subhashree and Rukmini Maitra
The coronavirus outbreak has hit all the sectors especially daily wagers, labourers in the state. In the entertainment industry also technicians are badly affected as all the shooting have been postponed. To help them Tollywood celebrities have decided to come forward and help them by making a short film on COVID-19.
The short film will be directed by Arindam Sil and will feature Prosenjit Chatterjee, Jeet, Abir Chatterjee, Mimi Chakraborty, Nusrat Jahan and Parambrata Chatterjee, Paran Bandopadhyay, Subhashree and Rukmini Maitra. As the tweet mentioned the profit from the project will go to daily wage earners and technicians of the entertainment industry.

The short film will be conceptualized by chief minister Mamata Banerjee. As reported by The Times of India, the short film will have a song penned by chief minister herself. The short film story is about an emotional journey of a young girl amid the coronavirus outbreak.
Recently, Bollywood also did the same and made a short film titled family. Till now more than a hundred deaths have been claimed in India and lakhs across the globe. Many countries have been affected by the deadly virus.
